Microneedling
FAQS
HOW DOES MICRONEEDLING WORK?
Microneedling works to improve overall skin health by stimulating collagen, which plumps up the skin, and is ideal for treating large pores, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, acne scars, stretch marks and textured skin. Microneedling utilises a handheld powered device that looks similar to a large writing pen. It has a tip that contains 9 microscopic needles that painlessly pass over the skin creating thousands of micro channels in the skin. These tiny punctures or wounds are not visible, but they are enough for your bodies’ natural healing process to be initiated, subsequently inducing the production of collagen and elastin.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Microneedling can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks until you achieve the desired results. For collagen induction we recommend to start with 3 treatments, but with a minimum separation time of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments. For scar reduction an average of 3 to 6 treatments are recommended
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?
Following your treatment, you may have some mild redness in the skin. It is important to keep the skin clean and moisturized following your treatment until the little holes can heal to minimize any chance of infection. Allowing the skin to dry out can result in flaking or peeling and extend the healing process.
DOES IT HURT?
Depending on your pain tolerance, you might experience some discomfort. A topical anaesthetic can be applied in such a case.

Micro-needles to deliver controlled radio frequency RF energy directly into various depths of the skin.

The combination of radio frequency and percutaneous needling induces collagen production within the dermis and tightens elastin fibres creating a smoother, healthier and younger looking skin. Needling is effective on most areas, face, neck, décolletage, arms, hands and local areas of scarring. Microneedling Tightens skin, minimises pores, reduces scarring (excellent for acne scarring), lightens pigmentation.

Combination of rhythmic vacuum, microneedling and radiofrequency to induce dermal coagulation.

Heats up the deeper dermis at 360 degrees around each microneedle tip generating collagen tightening and synthesis.

Sterile disposable multi-needles electrode from 0.25mm to 2.5 mm length.
